Parkway Polish“Parkway Polish”

Situated today along one of Denver’s beloved parkways, this house is one of the oldest in the neighborhood. Inspired by the location, and with respect for its history, our clients wanted to bring some of that “grandness” inside. Once a farmhouse, it pre-dated the parkway and once even faced in the opposite direction. Numerous piece-meal remodels and additions over the decades had left it chopped-up and feeling quite a bit smaller than its square footage would suggest. Our comprehensive remodel, constructed by Collins-Kiessig, successfully re-oriented the house, at last giving it a pleasant, substantial presence on the parkway. The interior has been completely reorganized from top to bottom. It features a new spectacular 2-story entry hall with Very-Grand Staircase, a large, sunny kitchen, a sunny formal dining room and a number of spacious new bedroom suites on the second floor.
