architecture portfolio“Hilltop Tudor”

An oversized lot meant that the addition to this tiny Hilltop Tudor could sit behind, beside, and on top of the original house. A large kitchen/breakfast area and family room span the back of the house and a 2-car garage sits to the side. The space once occupied by the old kitchen has been re-purposed as a meandering, gently-rising staircase to the new second floor. Upstairs, the master suite and three additional bedrooms, one neatly tucked up under the rafters of the original attic by general contractors Collins-Kiessig, encircle the skylight-flooded central stair hall.
